Meal challenge/Collab for Vegan Instagrammers.
I started to put together a little collaboration/challenge from my Instagram last week and it has gotten a pretty decent response so far… I would love to do something like this on the blog as well or find people who blog who want to participate in the instagram version of the challenge.

“The challenge is everyone participating must pick a food or ingredient that we will all include in a final meal. All ingredients chosen by those participating must be used by everyone involved in one final creative final recipe/meal. When all foods are together, the combination might or could be unconventional, so at the end, we will have 3-4 different ways to use the same ingredients and get different ideas of ways to cook/use those same ingredients which could be different from country to country. We will get to see how we all approached the challenge differently as well as get 2-4 great different meal ideas and options from different parts of the world. The location may play no role all but it will be interesting to see if it did.
This would be a great way to network, get inspired and creative as well as grow our pages and continue spreading veganism with more people as when we post our meal we will tag the other recipe creators in our post/version of the meal to share what the other creators came up with. (Ideally consistent posters, with similar content style.) I haven’t done this yet but I think it could be fun. If you want to join in dm me!”
Must pick 1 vegan ingredient.
Must use all ingredients chosen by the others participating.
Must make a fully vegan dish.
Must post the same day as the others participating.
Must get creative.
Must have a fun time and make some friends. (lol)
Add the @handle of the others participating in your caption to show what others made for the challenge.
Mention what you made with the required ingredients in your caption/post.
Use other foods and ingredients to make your dish work.
Make side dishes like appetizers and desserts to fit in all ingredients.
Prepare meal however you wish.
Include/not include the full recipe in your caption. If you would prefer not to include the full recipe that would be fine, but It would be helpful/interesting if you included the ingredients you used.
First Challenge Example.
For the first challenge, the selections were Asparagus dates, oats, and I chose chickpeas. I’m excited to see what we all come up with using these pretty random ingredients. We are allowed to make appetizers and/or dessert so I’m assuming we are all going to end up with some sort of side course considering the ingredients.
I didn’t tell any of the girls what the others chose until the very end so that it wouldn’t influence their choices. It worked out great as we got a pretty unconventional combination…which just makes it all the more fun and more of a challenge. I must admit it was definitely the right decision because I had a hard time not letting their selection influence mine.
In the first round, there was originally going to be four of us but one of the posters was unable to post (so then there were 3)…but we stuck with the four ingredients because we already picked the ingredients up and had planned to use them.
